Back To Sydney Road Trip - Day 3

Day three of our trip back to Sydney from the Gold Coast.

Today's leg is from the Armidale to Port Macquarie. Well I have never driven such a winding road in my life. They call it the Thunderbolt Highway! It was stunning scenery but contains something like 780 bends! We were relieved when we arrived.

Port Macquarie was founded in 1821 as a penal colony, and apparently a pretty harsh one!!
