Tuscan holiday, day 4

I started the day again with a walk on the walls. The morning was sunny and foggy, but luckily not quite as foggy as Monday. In the main photo, the house and road south of Pienza where scenes of the movie "Gladiator" where filmed. The first two extras are also views from the wall.

Then it was time to leave Pienza. Next stop was Siena. Most of the way there it was foggy, but it cleared soon after we got there. Piazza del Campo was atmospheric as ever (extra #3). There were a few students celebrating their graduation with their friends (extra #4).

From Siena we headed to the coast via Volterra (extra #5). Also a beautiful town with great views to the surrounding countryside. We arrived in Livorno at dusk and ate a great dinner in a fish restaurant.
