(Not so) Derelict Window Frame...

On 28 August I posted a photo (repeated here on the left) of a rather nasty bit of rot in our bathroom window frame. In the comments then I promised Anniemay that I'd blip a photo of the final repair "in a few days...". Well here it is "before & after"..."only" two months later! The catalytic filler did the trick quite well - I'm just hoping now that it lasts.

(OK so if you view it large you can see that there's too many tiny lumps in the paint. Maybe I shouldn't have used paint from an old tin. However I'm not going to repaint it now!)

Even though it's no longer derelict I'm going to tag it as DS53 - hope freespiral, who's doing a great job of looking after DS, doesn't mind.
