Goldfinch

On the daily dog walk this morning we saw quite a lovely sight.

A flock of goldfinch were eating the seeds from the plants in amongst the long grass. Every so often they would fly up together, circle then settle on the grass again.

If only the sun had been shining at the time the photo would have been as fantastic as what we watched.
