Leaf fall

Lime trees are always the first around here to lose their leaves.  I see it happening from my kitchen window.  Last night a huge swash of leaves came down over my front garden, so I knew the time had come to visit this wonderful wild graveyard.  It's not just that the leaves turn pale yellow, they also become papery and thin which lets the sunlight through.

A beautiful day, but goodness the days are shortening.  I had the best of intentions over tidying the garden, but in the end not much got done.  So that's my Sunday.  I hope you had a lovely one and that the week holds good things for you  xx
