Tawny Owl

This morning we visited Thorp Perrow arboretum for the first time. Apart from the obvious arborial exhibits, they have a falconry and mammal section. This splendid little Tawny Owl seemed to enjoy the attention of the camera.
I'm inexperienced in wildlife photography, but managed to get a satisfactory still shot. (Several ones of him in flight had to be deleted!)
