An unexpected find

While finishing off our shower room I investigated why the extractor fan had been rather ineffective.   The ducting appeared to be blocked so I thrust my arm up it only to find this wasp nest.  

Fortunately it has been vacated some time ago otherwise I would probably have needed hospital treatment!   The fan is now working again.

The shower room is virtually finished.  It's irritating that the new basin tap has proved to be faulty so I am waiting for another which will be here on Tuesday.
