High and Dry

Lovely sunny day here in Kintyre.
No time to waste this morning shopping done then in the car to head south to Carskey 
It feels like ages since we've enjoyed a walk along this beach.
In the clear autumn air the coast of Antrim was very clear.
The waves were breaking on the shore and several gannets were diving.
Further out to sea the sea was certainly looking very lively as we watched a distant yacht progress along the horizon.
I saw this old winch near the cottage at the end of the beach it's winching days are certainly in the past.
