Harvest

Having anticipated the wheat harvest over the last week or two, the combine harvesters finally arrived to the fields around my place of work. The weather conditions were ideal, and both harvesters were working fast. They had changed the landscape from wheat fields to stubble within an hour or two. I've always found them fascinating to watch. Whilst some animals will have lost some habitat, I suspect we'll see a few new ones very soon who will enjoy what has been left behind.
