Sparks Flying!

Backblipping!

Sparks flew at the lodge! When the lodge was built the decking had been laid before the cladding was put on. That meant that the boards had to be riven out, leaving their nails in place. The nails couldn't be got at with a claw hammer and the tin-snips weren't able to cut the tough annular nails. The best option was for The Man to use an angle-grinder.

That wasn't the end of the problem. The new polymer decking was thicker than the wooden decking so had to have their ends skimmed by The Mate with a router so that they could slide under the cladding.

How very grateful we have been to have had, not only the Mate's expertise, but also the use of his tools.
