earth hour

Took the dogs out this morning for a big walk along the Chemin des Chenes.

Made cupcakes in the afternoon for the girls - we're going to Caroline's tomorrow for lunch. I told the girls ages ago about an idea that I'd heard about for revealing the baby's sex. You make cupcakes, spoon out a whole in the top and put in some pink/blue icing, depending on the sex of the baby. You then ice over the top with vanilla so that it's a secret. Once you bite into the cupcake, the surprise is revealed! So the girls will find out via cupcake tomorrow!!

Headed for a drink with a few other people in the village at 10pm for earth hour. All lights in the place had been turned off at 8pm and the village was in pitch blackness - so strange!
