Talla & Gameshope II

Despite the overnight rain and wind I slept well in the tent. The morning was beautiful but chilly. Pausing to take this view of the Talla Reservoir and the storage barn, I was first up to the work site, giving me some time to enjoy the morning before the work began. Thanks to the views around us [see extra], what had been a slog the previous day was now almost a pleasure. We didn't get all the trees planted that we'd hoped, so was surprised that we knocked off at 15:00, but it was good to stop.

Back home to a welcome shower, hanging damp stuff to dry, shopping, fixing up Mother with Miss L's old laptop and collecting Mme A and Miss K after their return from a long weekend in York.
