The golden shades of autumn turn country roads into works of art. The oranges and reds against the blue mountains and sky are found on the palette only nature can paint. 
Putting the gardens to bed now. The killing frost that colors the trees is no friend to the flowering annuals. Days are warm and nights are crisp-cold. The new stove purdles on and all is warm and toasty.
