Tree-Planters
Parks are lively with squirrels stockpiling acorns as winter looms.
Some people don't like squirrels (what?) yet their image might be enhanced by this bit of information:-
"Grey squirrels may devour many acorns, but by storing and failing to recover up to 74 percent of them, these rodents aid regeneration and dispersal of oaks."
This one was busy eating and collecting on Northampton's Racecourse (now a park). I wonder - do they forget where they've stashed them?
