Agora

Today it was rather windy so we took the local bus to Kos town. The sun was really strong in the little cobbled streets. This is the ancient agora in the centre of town. We wandered round for a few hours, looking through the the dozens of tourist shops. Then stopped for lunch overlooking the harbour. In the afternoon, we took a train around the outskirts of town, visited Hippocrates tree where he delivered his lectures on medicine and ate truly delicious ice cream. A lovely day and I've discovered a new favourite; baklava!
