Civic duty is done....

This morning I sat down to the desktop to go to 4 websites to print out their recommendations and along with the state provided voters guide.. after 90 minutes I had voted. 12 issues to be decided along with 25 elected offices...

Then I sat down with my dad and read the ballot to him. One by one with his reading glasses and a magnifying glass he was able to vote. 

In the State of Washington we are an all mail in ballot state. That is every eligible voter gets a ballot and then either mails it in or they set up many many drop boxes around for those who can not afford a stamp. 

We agreed to disagree on certain races...

There are 20 dahlia blossoms still and many more coming if the weather holds.. Yes another one of my mom's dahlia's..
