Better

Angie was in her home/birth town of Olching near Munich all afternoon, so I was "forced" to get on my feet and a good thing too.

Found some very old eye ointment (rather than drops) and against all common, basic sense, used it and seemingly with positive results. Just hope the children don't read this as they will probably get the men in white coats to come around.

Managed the evening animal chores and then a very pleasant dog walk along the River Günz at Ottobeuren, part of what I normally call the "Schickling Walk". The couple sitting on a rug enjoying the evening sun (it was 17:45) with their two dogs leaping around out of shot. Also, (see extra photo), past some of the old breed of "Braunvieh" beef cattle used by the conservation group to graze this otherwise bracken land. Without them to cut back the grasses and bushes, the flora, fauna and small reptile/amphibian wildlife would be reduced.
