Halloween Trail

Half term with dry and some some sunny weather brings in hordes of visitors and today was no exception. The children can do a trail in the Wood Garden finding the 'mummies' and collecting the letters to make a word.

What is a busy time for most of the other departments means a quiet time for me. All schools on holiday and so I spent the morning creating the talk notes to accompany a previously written PowerPoint presentation. We have a booking in place in December, so I cracked on, only breaking for a wood garden walk and quick hello to two of my team working for Events this week.

I no longer send Christmas cards by post, except to a couple of aged aunts who don't do email, but I do try and create a card that the email recipient can print off. Mr L paints an appropriate picture, either of somewhere we have visited during the year or a place personal to us, which I use to create the card. Today he started the painting. I'm sure it will get a blip sometime!
