Going to Seed

These are the seed heads from the Water Irises in my garden, making even more beautiful flowers for next year :-)

Not much happening today, so I caught up with boring household chores and baked a batch of muffins for the freezer. I did go for a stroll over the fields but couldn't find a blip :-/ .........although I did stand a watch a poor Buzzard being persistently harassed by a single Crow in the far distance ......I've seen this happen many times in the past but it's always been a group of Crows finding bravery in numbers, never a singleton.....and this one was really persistent.....I can't imagine what the Buzzard must have done to upset it so much ;-))
