Farewell Fall '16
It is not even Halloween but this is the last Nostalgic view fall garden for 2016.
This year even before daylight savings stops fooling around with our standard clocks,; we will see snow and feel the winter cold. I wonder if this will be breaking a first snowfall record?
So, today the 24th of October, I have posted a Nostalgic blip of the side garden waving tall grasses, trees still dressed in their best fall finery, and the green lawn who has experienced a good cutting that will last until Spring 2017.
The Big Event whispered it's chilly self, under a grey sky full of snow clouds this afternoon. It was leaving the Library when I felt the sky spitting cold rain drops and tiny pieces of ice!
The weather announcer says that tonight the outdoors will reach 28º F (-2.2ºC) then Predictions are for 1 inch of snow with ice Tuesday.
Winter sure to arrive with 3 to 5 inches of snow by Wednesday afternoon!
The trees & colorful bushes wardrobe will be changing along with the heat turned on day & night.
Usually we predict the earliest snow to arrive on or after Halloween. The poor TRICK or TREATERS slogging their heavy boots through snow with heavy coats covering their best disguises.
Nature will be playing the tricks this year. Goodbye to the colourful garden of this year 2016.
