Zebra Finch

Edward noticed a different bird outside today on the patio. We realized it was a tropical bird that must have escaped and was looking for food. We went out a few times trying to catch it with no luck but finally we did manage to capture it. It was puffed up due to the colder weather. I'm glad we got it as it rained overnight and the temperature are dropping to around 2c tonight. Not sure if we will keep Freddy the Finch or look for a good home for him. Wish he could tell us where he came from.
