Autumn Arrived

Autumn arrived here sometime whilst we were away last week! The leaves have suddenly turned from green to orange, brown and yellow.

This shot was taken this morning with the sun just beginning to shine over the hill behind me - casting a shadow on the bottom of the trees. 

A bit of a chill out day after the mayhem of the last couple of weeks and a lazy start to the day - a lie in until 6 am (!), late breakfast and then a chance to begin sorting all my photos from last week and do so more blip catch up.

Our canine visitor was returned home after lunch so we are back to just normal chaos now.

Another walk with Finlay late afternoon, then tea and a glass (or two) of wine to finish the day.
