Lost jandal.

Lost piece of footwear,
A  decorated jandal,
Difficult to wear.


I thought this was an extraordinary sight, this jandal covered in gooseneck barnacles. These barnacles are filter feeding crustaceans which attach to rocks and flotsam in the inter tidal zone. They depend on water movement rather than movement of their cirri to feed so are found on moderately exposed coast lines.
