Spread your wings and fly away

Over the lake near Tescos at Spytty area of Newport, there were ducks, swans, cygnets all busy swimming around or looking for food on the dry land area around the lake.
This cygnet although looks on its own the full grown swans weren't to far away,
It was walking round the lake picking up what I presume to be food and then it would spread its wings some times flap them and others just open them up and then fold them back in and carry on what it was doing.
