With the aid of a few strategically placed plastic bags, there wasn't too much water in the tent by the morning. Ben had given up early on and snuck off to the inside, but I joined little Agu in the tent, though I admit I'd missed most of the torrential rain.

It was a glorious summer's day. The boys are too complacent for my liking and have discovered the Challenge channel. They are hooked on 80's episodes of the Crystal Maze. I still love Richard O'Brien though, so I wander through the sitting room every so often, with bouts of "Get outside, the sun is shining!" slipping out.

The boys narrowly missed a haircut. It will happen tomorrow before Ben disappears beneath the ever growing curtain.

I hauled out the cheese souffle as a starter again. Either that recipe is a marvel or it's the emperor's new clothes. Anyway, a lovely dinner for 8 and the boys pulled themselves together to be seen and definitely heard, but not without charm.

The IGCSE results are in and a great one for a fellow blipper. Congratulations sweetheart, you deserved it.
