A life ambition achieved . . .

. . . Lea has always wanted to swim with dolphins, today was the day that her dream came true!!!

We chose the Blue Lagoon experience as it has only rescue dolphins and a huge Lagoon for them. A short choppy boat trip and we were there.

The dolphin experience took around two hours and was fantastic!!! Loads of photos and video, at one point the waterproof camera was nearly out of battery and I had to delete a batch of already downloaded photos off the iphone to do more recording!!

After the dolphin we had a few hours to spare. It’s a small island with plenty of places to relax in, from shady hammocks to straw huts and sunbeds. The snorkelling was very good, and food just right (although the local dish of rice and peas did go straight through me, thankfully the loos are good too! (Thinking about it thousand island dressing was involved so. . ))

All in all a great day out. We came back on the last boat back with the staff, and just had time for an hour round the pool before sunset . . .
