Stork...

...displaying it's feathers.

I didn't need to travel far for today's blip, once I'd spotted the stork's nest on top of this lamp-post on the roundabout outside the hotel (see first extra). Oblivious to traffic and to a camera on the hotel terrace, the bird continued to preen and balance precariously (second extra).

Though the Faro weather has improved since last night's heavy and prolonged thunderstorms (see extra added to yesterday's blip), it is raining again after a brief lunchtime sunny period.
