Falls of Feugh

Last night I met up with a group of friends in Inverurie and Mrs AMK persuaded me not to do the 2 +  hour drive home late at night in the dark on my own so I booked in to a B & B for the night. 

That turned out to be a great decision as the friends recommended I took the scenic route home via Banchory and the Cairn O' Mount road and in the beautiful sunshine the Autumn colours were stunning. There was a fine mist rising from the fields and the bales and the trees were glistening.

I stopped many times to take photographs including at Castle Fraser and my journey home took me nearly 4 hours!
