Autumn

Maybe I should have stayed up north, I think the weather may have been better than it is here in Twyford. A bleak autumn day, no rain but cloudy and overcast, the air had a damp feel to it.

The photograph shows the Twyford War Memorial and trees at the entrance to the church yard.

Somewhat to my disappointment Waitrose has definitely stopped having apple strudel in the patisserie. Pity, it used to be very nice, even if not fully authentic.
