Getting colder

We've had a really nice summer and autumn here in Akureyri, with warm weather and beautiful fall colours.  But today it's been colder than usual and we can see the mountains are sporting white hats.  Guess it's time to get used to parkas and warm boots again...those dark and cold months are not my favourite time of the year.  At least it didn't snow here in Akureyri, but the people of Reykjavík had to deal with this nasty surprice and the tourist coaches were obviously not ready for winter.
