Uithuizen from above

At the entrance of Uithuizen you'll see from far away the 'graansilo' (grain warehouse). About 30-35 mtrs high. It's at the beginning from the street where i was born. To me it's a familiar landmark.

Since i'm having my Nikon D5300 i had planned to ask permission to get on top of it to make some aerial photographs. Today was that day. A beautiful autumn day, unfortunately a little long-distant fog. When it's clear weather, you can see the Gasuniebuilding, the Martinitower and the Tasman building in the city of Groningen.

This picture of the Roman-Catholic church in Uithuizen, surrounded by the trees is a favorite. It's also my next pount for the second part of my serie "Uithuizen' from above.
