Pussy cat, pussy cat...

....where have you been? We've been up to London, to visit the Queen!

After leaving London Bridge Station, we wandered along the river to Tower Bridge. We climbed the many steps to the walkway across the top, and in doing so escaped massive queues. Not many people seem to be willing to climb stairs in these sad times! I couldn't bring myself to walk over the section of glass floor, but the boys braved it. Next stop was for coffee, then a boat trip to Westminster Bridge. We refuelled with Pizza and Pasta, then meandered our way to Hamleys via Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and Piccadilly. Exhausting!!!

We are now back at base writing Christmas lists....
