Pumpkin Display--and More

Big Y is a regional chain of supermarkets, in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and this is a very large store near us.  Its emphasis on "Locally Owned" must be intended to differentiate it from its competitor Stop & Shop, which is a subsidiary of the Dutch company Ahold.  (We shop most often at Stop & Shop, which is the most convenient for us--a five-minute drive.)
