Building Sandcastles on a windy Alnmouth Beach

We drove home up the A1 today so we could stop off at Alnmouth. Orla had a great time at the playground. The Dandelion cafe had just closed for the evening when we arrived at 4pm so we got ice creams from an ice cream van and ate them on the beach. Then a bit of sandcastle building before getting back on the road.

We were at Matthew's house for a barbecue and to watch the Olympic closing ceremony last night.
