Veins

The davidii involucrata is competing with the town for the showiest tree in the garden.  It is currently a warm, deep red.

The rain and the cold halted work on putting the garden into its winter bed. An alternative activity was found involving a trip to a scandinavian furniture store, purchase of a new desk for Ellen and assembling it.  Apart from entering the store in the first place, I no longer have any fear of such processes.

The extra is one of the last plum on the tree.  Others find it funny.
