haha! I started my ceramics course tonight after being stupidly nervy about it for ages. I shouldn't have been though, it's good fun and I need to wise up.

we made pinch pots. I had no idea what they were until I looked them up on pinterest later. wish I'd known before because otherwise I wouldn't have done this! we had to make two and scratch and slip them together to make a hollow orb...then in the last 10 minutes he said right, make what you want with it. I need more than 10 minutes! so a wee wonky lidded sugar bowl it was. turns out, on pinterest someone else has done almost this exactly, although less wonky.

it's also weird being part of a class when I'm used to working (craft-wise) on my own. enjoyed it though...
