Mojo Band

Another backblip, thanks to a) another late night, and b) Orange (fourth loss of service in two weeks).

Tuesday night's concert was given by the Mojo Band. I can't give you a link because there seem to be lots of bands called the Mojo Band, and none of the ones I found on Google were the right one. Anyway, there was a three-man brass section, one bass player, two guitarists, a drummer, a keyboard player, and a guest harmonica player, so they made quite a lot of noise. They reminded me a bit of Wilko and the Solid Senders. They were a bit aggrieved that more people didn't get up and dance, but the amphitheatre doesn't really lend itself to wild gyrations; everyone just tapped and swayed along.

The harmonica player was OK, but once you've seen Nico Wayne Toussaint having oral sex with his harmonica, nothing else comes close.

I haven't been around much the last few days because we've had family visiting; just time to blip, but no time to read journals or comment. I'll catch up soon!
