Newport Harbor

We left Plymouth, MA and headed to my hubby's old Naval Officer stomping grounds in Newport, RI. One of our favorite spots is the Harbor near Bowen's Wharf. This area is composed of brick walks, granite quays, beautiful sailboats and yachts, the finest shops and restaurants. We could have enjoyed the sunny day a bit better if it had been a tad warmer and less windy conditions. We savored a warm lunch at The Brick Alley Pub and then we finished shopping for the children. We found a comfy inn not far away so this was another satisfying day for us.
