Is this right? Seems to sound a bit odd.

The Boss was playing about here and I just kno that there is something smelly going on……

I don’t believe I have ever sniffed Bagpipes. 
What has that got to do with anything I hear you say…Well…

The Boss was chatting with one of his older (Scottish) mates today and telling him about the Dire Straits concert he went to in Wellington.
His mate said he had never heard of Dire Straits and The Boss said that was because he had probably been driven deaf from playing Bagpipes.

“What was that about Bagpipes?”, he replied.
