Side saddle lesson

For Joy's 50th, the other girls at the yard where she stables her horse, Derby, had a whip round and collectively bought her a side saddle lesson.

She said despite her dodgey right knee, it's more comfortable that's it looks. I was most impressed with Derby though, who has never experienced this before and yet seemed to catch on to the new position of her rider quite quickly.
