Chilled soup

It's hot and muggy today with a thunderstorm promised for later, so I was pleased that LoJ made this chilled tomato soup for lunch, garnished with crisped pieces of jambon cru, olive oil and basil leaves. It's a dish we've made in different versions for years but it's especially good in a recipe from last week's Observer.

I'm trying to finish my work today as we're off on a jaunt to Perpignan and a blipmeet there tomorrow - I'm looking forward to it!
