Not so little anymore

Youngest's first day at school. Eldest's first day back after the holidays.

There were no tears from the children (apart from one little girl who ran out of the school screaming "MUM!!!!"). It was the adults that lost the plot. I started blubbing, that set my mum off, hubby walked over to the other side of the classroom effectively disowning me and mum, youngest barely looked up from his jigsaw to wave goodbye. Charming.

Off to Frankie & Bennys later for a massive ice cream sundae to celebrate youngest's first day, eldest's return and my partial acceptance that my boys are growing up...sniff, sniff...sigh
