The crooked stairs

A significant birthday for me today and as a surprise MrToad and the family booked us all into a hotel in Nantwich where we've spent a lovely couple of days together finishing up with a beautiful Italian meal tonight.

The Crown Hotel is a very old black & white timbered building of character, with oak beams narrow passages and extremely crooked walls and floors, this is the staircase we had to negotiate, it had the feel of being on the Titanic on it's way down!
