Freuchie's Hillock

Walked through the woods to Freuchie's Hillock, believed to be the site of the earliest Castle Grant, probably thirteenth century.
The Cromdale hills are in the background and the dark cloud moved quickly to give a lovely warm day, if a little windy.
Walked to the Seafield memorial stone and copse afterwards.
