Allegator in Texas Wetlands

While walking with my son [we were safely walking on a boardwalk] he thought he spotted an alligator.  Sure
enough, an alligator it was!  In my 14 plus years of walking
there, it was the first alligator I spotted in that environment.
I was very impressed.  It was waiting for some bird prey.  The
whole area is surrounded by chain link fence, so we were
unsure how it got there.  I just wanted to share.
