gives the Whitby visitor the unique experience
of being on the open deck of a similar ship,
albeit one -third smaller, but taking in the
same experience of sailing up the River Esk
after a very short sea trip. If only for the chill
of being off shore they will have some idea
of the tough conditions endured by sailors of
that era.
