Everyday in Switzerland?

I noticed this couple alighting from a tram on my way home from work this evening. no one else was staring, so I'm guessing euphonium carrying is quite normal in Basel.

My household purchases are increasing... I now have a washing up bowl and a canister for my teabags. My team mates are enjoying my daily questions on Swiss provisioning, however they are not au fai with the sorts of things I may wish to procure. My quest for a tea towel was answered by 'but you have a dishwasher'
