Illuminating York 2016

A trip to my home city of York for the second of four nights of a light festival. Various sites around the city had light installations. It was very busy attracting lots of families to the city.

As we left St. John's College a group of students had decorated their bikes with coloured lights. They were just about to set off on a ride through the centre. I took this as they set off. The light trails the camera picked up stood out from my other photos.
