The Rose Reading Room at the New York Public Library is back in business! I spent many a sleepy day in this stinky, air-starved room as a student, so it's nice to see that they have finally finished renovating the crumbling ceiling and reopened the reading room. It felt and smelled like they've overhauled the air conditioning too.

A short trip to NYC, which began with a few hours of work in this oasis.
