Kelpie

The reason that we travelled to Scotland a day earlier than was necessary was that we wanted to photograph the Kelpies. It has been a damp and miserable day but it was worth staying out until 7 pm to get this shot.

We started the day by going to the Falkirk Wheel. See the extra of part of the wheel through a wet window in the visitor centre. It did brighten up for a while so we went outside to see the wheel working.  As we were watching some pieces of metal fell from a great height. It was enough for them to close the wheel down for further investigation.
